1/2 cup cooked gluten
3 cups of rice washing or water
4 small onions, quartered
1 cup tomatoes, sliced
1/2 cup carrots, cubed
2 small celery stalks or kinchay cut in pieces
1 small canned peas
4 medium potatoes, cubed
Salt to taste
How to cook Gluten Stew:
- Brown gluten in fat. Add three cups rice washing or water, salt and simmer.
- Add sliced tomatoes and the rest of the ingredients except wash.
- Simmer till almost done. Add cooked peas and cook until done. Serve hot.
- Yield: 4 servings.
